Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist:

The CDIF works with physicians to ensure that the patient charts accurately reflect the medical treatment and diagnosis of the patient. This includes terminology that the coders and ultimately the insurance companies use to provide proper and accurate payment.

Licensure/Certifications: Registered Nurse
Experience: Minimum of 2 years. Preferred 5 years of more.
Education/Training: Previous training in clinical documentation improvement. Ongoing training may be provided by KMC as needed.

Director of Materials Management:

Responsible for finding best pricing in the procurement, receipt and maintaining an adequate inventory of equipment and supplies necessary to perform all activities associated with the daily operation of an Acute Care Hospital.

Responsible for negotiation, procurement, receipt and maintaining an adequate inventory of equipment and supplies necessary to perform all activities associated with the daily operation of an Acute Care Hospital.
Experience: This work requires a professional with a high level of knowledge in financial and inventory management equivalent to that which is acquired through a financial management degree or extensive prior experience in a for profit general acute care hospital. Cerner knowledge preferred.
Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Health Care Administration or minimum of 5 (five) years’ experience in a For Profit Health Care Materials Management

Admissions/Scheduling Clerk:

Monitors and maintains the daily scheduling of Outpatient Testing/Surgery/Admissions. Schedules patients, assures physician offices send copy of order that is complete.
Experience: 2 years previous experience, hospital or other healthcare facility preferred. Must exhibit good knowledge of medical/surgical terminology. Previous CERNER experience preferred.
Education/Training: Must possess a high school diploma or GED

Lab Technologist

12-hour shifts; 7a-7p
3 days a week w/call M-F
Minimum 1 year experience with BCLS required; CVT or Radiology license for the State of Indiana required

Cath Lab RN

12-hour shifts; 7a-7p
3 days a week w/call M-F
Active current licensure in the State of Indiana.  BLS required.  ACLS may also be required.
Minimum 1 year experience

MT/MLT

F/T 2nd Shift varies
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by AMT or ASCP
One to three years clinical hospital working experience is desired

Intensive Care Unit, RN

12-hour shifts; 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Critical care experience required, ACLS, BLS

Telemetry Unit, RN, LPN, CNA

12-hour shifts; 7a -7p or 7p-7a
Monitor experience preferred.

Med Surg Unit, RN, LPN, CNA

12-hour shifts; 7a 7p or 7p-7a
Experience required.

Emergency Room, ER Tech

12-hour shifts; 7a-7p, 7p-7a
ER experience required, ACLS, BLS

PRN Respiratory Therapist

Licensure/Certifications: Must be CRT credentialed by the NBRC. RRT preferred. Must have BLS certification, ACLS preferred. Must have active Indiana state license to practice respiratory care.

Nuclear Medicine Tech

Licensure/Certifications: State of Indiana Nuclear Medicine Technologist License. Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB. ARRT-N (American Registration of Radiologic Technologists)
